So I continued to notice people looking in a cabinet at my new job. Each would stand there, with a thoughtful expression on his or her face. Some would reach in and remove something, others would simply close the cabinet door and walk away.
Is this the cabinet to Narnia, I wondered? Perhaps some nod of the head to a Harry Potter reference that I don’t know since I’m the only person who hasn’t read all of the books?
Summoning courage, because I could look really stupid if I’m NOT supposed to go in the cabinet, I walked over and opened the door.
It’s a Magic Sharing Cabinet! There were books, children’s clothes’ hangers, small household items (gently used), and a laminated sign with the guidelines. (They’re not crazy about rules at the new job. They prefer guidelines. They’re Pirates, like me.) Now when I have that random item that I am sure someone else could use, I can put it in the Magic Sharing Cabinet.
I found this little treasure in it.
A lovely bat candle that spent last night Glowing next to my Witch candle. So many lovely treasures to discover on the new ship!
Neat! What a great idea!
